Passion is where it all began: our founder and Managing Director, Luca Scribani Rossi, won an Olympic Bronze Medal at Los Angeles ’84 in Olympic Skeet, after a successful career in the discipline. Since the foundation of Beretta Australia in 2000, Luca has brought his wealth of experience from the World of High Performance Sport to that of business, maintaining the same commitment, attention to detail and attitude to success that made him a champion on the shooting range. The same passion is now shared by fourteen full time employees and five ‘on the road’ representatives. In only eight years, we have rapidly risen to being one of the major players in the Australian market. Not only do we distribute and wholesale to Australia and New Zealand (through the subsidiary Beretta New Zealand), but also to China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong), South Korea, Philippines, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and New Caledonia. We therefore trade our products in a 2.5 billion strong market.

Yet technological innovation is not enough for Beretta Australia, innovation in customer service is what we value above all. We are well aware of the diverse needs of all our customers, and we strive to provide every possible product for all your potential requirements. As an example of how important personalisation is for us, we offer complimentary gun fitting for every Beretta and Franchi shotgun purchased.

When it comes to our sport, we spare no effort. We consider the strengthening of the shooting culture in Australia a priority and we know that through our activities we can teach the responsible use of firearms. A landmark day in the history of clay target shooting in Australia took place in October 2007. Beretta Girl Action attracted an astonishing number of girls and women who had never tried the sport before. That day helped to change many misconceptions and assumptions about firearms, their use and forever dismissed the myth that clay target shooting is strictly a male dominated sport. Beretta Girl Action was repeated in October 2008, with 420 girls attending and over 1000 general public, while Beretta Open Days have been run with overwhelming success in the last three years.
