Sport & Community

Beretta Australia believes the strengthening of the shooting culture is a priority and knows that through its activities, responsible use of firearms can be taught. Furthermore, Beretta Australia considers the community as of inestimable value and considers it an honour to be a part of it. A landmark in the history of clay target shooting in Australia took place in October 2007. Beretta Girl Action gathered 350 girls and women who had never tried the sport before. That day helped to change many misconceptions about firearms and their use, forever dismissing the myth that clay target shooting is exclusively a male sport. Beretta Girl Action was repeated in October 2008, with 420 girls attending and over 1000 of the general public. During both days, funds were raised (through merchandising and other activities) and donated to the McGrath Foundation to sustain its battle against breast cancer.

Beretta Open Days are instead more oriented to experienced shooters. Held throughout the country, they have been run with enormous success in the last two years. Since passion has no brand, everyone is welcome at Beretta Open Days to come and try our wonderful range of products. Beretta Australia is glad to offer its skills and experience to everyone.

Beretta Australia also works in very close relationship with: S.S.A.A. (National Body - Sporting Shooting Association of Australia), S.S.A.A. Victoria (major Sponsor), The S.H.O.T. Expo (largest Trade Exposition taking place in Australia on an annual basis - major sponsor), A.C.T.A. (National Body - Australian Clay Target Association - major sponsor), The Field & Game Association (Governing Body for Sporting clays in Australia - major sponsor).

The commitment to the above mentioned associations showcases Beretta Australia’s commitment to the shooting sports and its preservation for years to come.
