Kick-Off Technology
Victory often comes by the slimmest margins. Just one more clay is sometimes all that stands between a shooter and the winner’s podium. Kick-Off® technology delivers that edge by reducing recoil and muzzle rise to allow fast aiming on the second shot. One more possibility to hit one more clay than the competition and capture the prize. Innovation is the heart of Beretta’s legendary design. This new generation of over-and-under is the first to feature the new patented Kick-Off® technology in a wooden stock. Available on select models, this mechanism was conceived to significantly reduce the felt recoil to the shooter’s shoulder.
Thanks to Kick-Off®, the recoil energy is gradually dissipated through two oil hydraulic dampeners integrated into the design, resulting in much better comfort for the shooter. At the same time that the vibrations and muzzle rise are decreased, the durability, reliability and handling of the firearm are enhanced.
Q-Stock
Much is expected of a revolutionary new shotgun. The SV10 Prevail delivers with a patented new Q-Stock® design that allows its disassembly in just a few seconds. This exclusive new system not only provides a more solid lock between the stock and receiver, it does away with the traditional internal through-bolt and the need to remove the recoil pad. The result is a quick take down system that disassembles in seconds – for replacement, special work or access to the trigger mechanism. The ability to quickly change the shotgun’s stock allows the highest level of customization to meet every need. Extending the life of a shotgun that outperforms expectations is important to every competitor. Another significant benefit of a lock-up that remains constant over time is the pivotal role it plays in keeping shooter and shotgun together for a very long time. The disassembly operation is executed using the included special key, inserting it through the grip cap, which features an elegant and functional hinged coverplate.
