Faithful to the original, this "Henry" with its barrel and magazine drawn from one-piece steel, required a good deal of skill to reproduce. Chambered for a cartridge available today, the "Henry" was the first true repeating rifle to be both practical and reliable. Developed from the Volcanic carbines by Tyler Henry, inventor of the cartridge, in 1860, this replica would be the pride of its innovator and namesake.
