The ATAC utilises Gas-Ram Technology (GRT) and a tactical synthetic stock with integrated Picatinny rails attached to both sides of the fore-end and receiver. It relies on a simple, quiet Gas-Ram driven action that cocks with a break-open barrel. Gas-Ram Technology reduces vibration and eliminates the sound that comes from a traditional spring-driven airgun power plant. Accuracy is enhanced with this system through the elimination of vibrations and velocities are consistent because of exact and repeatable gas-pressure release. The ATAC's Gas-Ram system has been thoroughly tried and tested for toughness and durability, and has been chosen for its long-lasting reliability and ballistic precision and achieves velocities of 1200 feet-per-second (fps) with alloy pellets and 1000 fps with lead pellets. An ambidextrous automatic safety is conveniently located at the end of the receiver for quick and easy access.

The ATAC comes with a quality variable 4-16 x 40 Mil-dot Reticle airgun scope with an adjustable objective. The scope is factory mounted and bore-sighted for 25 yards. The scope rings attach directly to the integral Picatinny rail located on the top of the receiver, which incorporates cross-slot locking grooves, ensuring that the scope is positioned immovably. This airgun is ready to shoot straight out of the box.
