Variety: 100% Sangiovese
Each of the Chianti Classico areas have their own unique terroir of the vineyards and are situated approx. 400 metres above sea level. The soil is rich in clay-limestone structure with a good presence of siliceous skeleton. The low production yields combined with good exposure, ventilation and low evening temperatures promote healthy maturation of the bunch. The grapes are harvested manually and transported to the winery in small boxes.
