Consistent accuracy, be it at the range or on the plains, the T3x Super Varmint Stainless has an adjustable cheek piece and Picatinny rail on top of the receiver for quick and effortless scope mounting. This is a full-bodied rifle that can weather all conditions. The heavy, stainless steel barrel effectively eliminates vibration and does not overheat – even in fast paced varmint shooting. It comes with 5- or 6-round detachable magazines as standard. The T3x Super Varmint Stainless synthetic stock has an extra wide fore-end for benchrest shooting, and the swivel stud accommodates either a bipod or a sling. Its ergonomically designed Varmint cheek piece with a large scope provides for a comfortable head position.
Top rifle! Was my first 223, 1:12 twist, loves the Aussie outback 55g blitz kings. Still groups well after 2500 rounds
Update on T3X
Well it just gets better and better, buffalo river 55gn factory ammo 10 shots measuring 21mm. Bench rest shooting that gives you a gold medal.
Now doing reloads and getting very close to 5 shots under 25mm (1") at 200 yards.
Yes that's right 200 YARDS.
What a fantastic rifle.
If you've never bench rested or shouldered a tikka you're missing out. These rifles just exuberate confidence. Bino was so impressed by the rifles balance and accuracy he ordered one.
Had a great privelage to shoot the T3x in super varmint. 223 with Bull barrel, adjustable check rest etc. Bench rested at 100 yards with factory 55gn buffalo river ammo, 5 shots in one enlarged hole measuring 15 mm, thought it was a fluke, another 5 shots, same again, 1 enlarged hole measure 9mm. Now that's a serious rifle with sub 1/2 MOA groups and I'm no pro shooter. If I can do it so can you. So many tikka's at the range now, but this was the first of the new T3x out there, these have to be serious contender for the ultimate accuracy out of the box, would like to try it again with reloads. But how much better can you get?
