A classic from Chapuis, the UGEX rifle is a superb piece of workmanship. The scalloped and sculptured all-steel action is engraved with chisel-chased floral borders complemented by images of a roebuck to one side, a wild boar on the other and a red stag underneath the action. Hand selected, AAA fancy grade walnut pistol grip stock with English-style cheekpiece on ejector guns (AA fancy grade on extractor versions) with matching checkered walnut buttplate and forend.
Double parallel underlugs, reshaped and fitted out with a new “battue” luminescent rib rear sight and an adjustable foresight, plus a pre-machined quarter rib for scope sight mounts. With a hand-rubbed oil finish, hand cut checkering and a single-trigger, the UGEX is a very aesthetically pleasing rifle.
Comes in an ABS moulded case equipped with coded locks.
